Guys Trip

This past weekend, we had our 3rd annual guys trip to Lake of the Ozarks. 7 of us went down there, and had a great time! I am grateful for friendships, “old” and “new”, time together, sun and fun on the water!

Close Proximity

I am so grateful that I live so close to the office! This morning, I took the dog into the vet downtown for an appointment, and I realized how much I take for granted the fact that I don’t have to fight traffic daily! I usually can walk to work, and I am grateful for that proximity!

I am also grateful for being in such close proximity to nature on my walk. This morning was beautiful!

I am grateful

for my Grandma!  Today is her Birthday! She is 96 years old.

I wish I could be home to celebrate but am thankful for phones, knowing she is just a “phone call away.” =)

First day!

Isaac’s first day of middle school!?!?!?!?! I am so grateful for caring, compassionate, kind, intelligent, wonderful person he is. Time flies…we must be having fun:-)

Payton starts school this week too 8th grade!?!?! But he is on a vacation with his grandparents (it is also a “working vacation” for his coin business, that alone is crazy too!)

Cool Mornings

I am grateful for the cool mornings that transition us into Fall. Fall is my favorite time of year and its a happy sign that Fall will be here soon. =)

Meteor Shower

I am so grateful for time spent camping with good company, good food, and grand adventures. We were luky enough to watch the perseid meteor shower over the weekend and it was magical. Makes me feel like a little kid again. =)

Morning walk

This morning I took a long walk with Isaac and our dog, Buttercup. School starts soon and Isaac will be riding his bike. He told me today he would like to take walks with me in the morning before school starts though :-). I am thankful for our time, the beautiful state we live in and my amazing family!

Talking to strangers

I know as a child we are supposed to watch for “stranger danger” but as an adult, I love getting and giving “hellos” and “how are you” and “what a beautiful day”s with so many people I’ve never met. At the gym, at the coffee shop, walking with our dog, etc. I love people that love life and are friendly! I am grateful b

Fun Weekend

I made hanging shelves, baked banana zucchini bread over the weekend, read books, enjoyed coffee on the back deck with my puppy dogs and just relaxed.

I am grateful for all the activites I enjoy at home that rejuvenate me.
