Family’s Back!

Sheri and Isaac were at a Boy Scout camping trip Sunday-last night. Payton had spent the night at Sheri’s parents and then at a friend’s house Sunday/Monday. I am so grateful to have my whole family back! We head out to the Lake of the Ozarks for a long 4th of July weekend beginning Friday and I am just so thankful to have everyone together and to head on another adventure soon! (Sheri dubbed this the “summer of adventure” and so far it is living up to its moniker.)

Remembrance, celebration, fun

Saturday was the 9th Annual Shawn Micheal Hall charity horseshoe tournament. It is an event I look forward to all year. Great friends we haven’t seen in at least a year. Great conversations about our amazing friends that were taken too soon. Laughter, horseshoes, libations, camaraderie, family, connection and just absolute fun. I am grateful I be a part of it and to be connected to such amazing people!

I am grateful

that everything went well with my Uncle’s surgery. He is home recovering. I cannot wait to have some much needed family time soon.

What a wonderful Wednesday!

Pretty hard to NOT be grateful when we have such a beautiful day! Snow capped peaks, 80 degrees, green all around. I am grateful for such a Wonderful World!!

A great night’s sleep

After a weekend of camping, it was great to sleep in my own bed! I am grateful for all the comforts I take for granted, not the least of which is a comfy bed!

Camping, nature, family, friends

This past weekend we went on our annual group camping trip. 7 families came this time and we went to Curt Gowdy State Park in Wyoming. It was so much fun! Mountain biking, fishing, archery, campfires, beverages, and tons of connection to thE outdoors and to each other!
