Gratitude games
This week, I sent a text out to my staff to say 3 things they were grateful for in Their personal lives from the past week, and 3 things in their work life. It was great! I did the same thing this morning with all 14 docs in my text group, almost everyone played along.
I am so grateful for the energy! Reading what other people are grateful for (as well as stating what I am grateful for) is truly uplifting!
I am grateful
I have the opportunity to be part of such a great team that cares about each others goals, and dreams, and that I work with genuine, positive people just trying to make a difference in the world =)
Playlist mojo
I love how Spotify has “mood” playlists. This one seemed perfect this morning to get the mojo going for a great day!
Long mornings!
Now that the boys are back in school, Sheri and I get to spend some time together in the morning before I go to work. We go for a walk with Hermione (our standard poodle), sip coffee and talk about life. I love the time we have to connect before I head out to the job I love!
FAMILY TIME
I am so extremely grateful I got to spend time with Casey’s mom, and brother yesterday. I have been missing my family lately and it was great to see them even if it was just for a short while.
Impromptu drives/dinners
Last night after work, we decided as a family to go for a drive (we had a pretty cool loaner car from Audi Boulder while my car was being worked on) and went out to dinner. We sat outside, laughed, talked about the kids’ beginning of the school year (and I found out yesterday that Payton, who just started 6th grade is going to be in 7th grade honors math!) and enjoyed the evening and each other’s company. I am so grateful for my family!
Avoiding Traffic
I am grateful I do not have to sit in traffic on the way to work. It is wonderful.
Planning!( Bullet Journals )
I love having a planner and writing everything down and making a game plan. It makes life so much easier. =)
