Our newest decorations

We recently updated this wall that leads into out kitchen. I made the cool Colorado flag with local brewery beer bottle tops, Sheri’s grandmother owned the bike. The map is of the US and all the places we’ve gone as a family. I love the wall 🙂

Coming together

I am so grateful for the group of doctors/friends we have in Colorado. Dr Sara is going to need help these next few weeks and I am so grateful that we can all step in, cover shifts, provide aid and give some comfort during this time.

When People Remember You

Last night I was at the store with Casey, and one of our regulars from when I used to work at Starbucks came up to me and was like “I thought that was you!” and asked how I was doing, and things. It made my night that he remembered me after three years! I loved our Starbucks regulars, and it made me feel good knowing they loved me too!

I am extremely grateful for our patients and how they make our work place enjoyable, and even more grateful for the way they make you feel appreciated. We are pretty lucky to have a work environment where we already feel appreciated, but to have our patients make us feel that way – most people do not have that, and it is something I do not take for granted.

I am so thankful that I was able to spend a couple of days with my Aunt and baby cousin’s that came to visit from Wisconsin. It had been a year and a half since I had seen them. I watched them both for a long time starting when they were infants and it has been hard to not see them every day since they moved away. So, thank you Dr. Lindeman and Jess, for allowing me to take the day off and spend time with my wonderful family!
