I take it for granted when I am feeling well and am able to do every day activities. But these past couple weeks have been rough and I will never take it for granted again.
We had an awesome Thanksgiving weekend! I am so thankful to have so many things to be thankful for! I also am grateful for the joy I receive in giving thanks. I wrote a letter to each member of my family and gave it to them on Thanksgiving. It felt great to give and to know they appreciated it. Giving thanks can actually seem selfish sometimes because if feels so good 🙂
Yesterday, I felt “off” and un-inspired. I am so grateful for the support of my wife, my children, and close friends that I can turn to. They help lift me up, get me back on the right path and even more importantly, they let me know it’s ok to be off every once in a while. The key is to catch it and do my best no matter what, off or on. Great people deserve my thanks and I am so thankful for the support of such great people!
We were fortunate to head up to Winter Park this weekend! Sheri and the kids went skiing with another family while I chillaxed, had a some great beer, had a massage and re-charged! It was awesome. I am grateful for Colorado, for the mountains, for friends and for family! (I am also grateful for all those who serve(d) for our country, Scott, the father of the family we went with, served our country for 4 years in Iraq, Afghanistan and other places).
It makes me happy when others are happy. I always find myself reading this blog with a huge smile on my face. I don’t even realize it until I’m like wow, I have the biggest smile on my face right now. lol =)
Recently, I started doing some videos on Facebook and Youtube to go over a bit more of what I do, why I do it, and why I love it. I have had a lot of great feedback (and it’s all been positive). I am grateful for the opportunities we have to use Social Media to teach, inspire and to learn and to be inspired!
